Normally I don’t care about politics at all, which is exactly why I’m tumbling this guy. I’ll get the unimportant stuff out of the way: He’s Jacksonville’s first democrat mayor to be elected in 20 years, and he’s black. Okay, cool. The actually interesting part is that he seems to genuinely care about his city, going so far as to take a 20% paycut without any pension. He cares about his people. You wouldn’t know it, but I’ve been golf clapping the entire time I’ve been writing this, which made it a huge ordeal.

Maybe he’ll make this city more interesting. It’s so boring living here.
